Organising objects to Work out Totals

Episode #10:  This episode is about learning how to organise objects to work out totals.

Learning that collections of objects, actions and sounds can be arranged in many different ways, but that the total number stays the same, is important mathematics learning for young children. Children learn to show different ways to arrange the same number of objects.

Encourage children to show different ways to make and organise the same number of objects, actions or sounds, and to notice that the total remains the same.
